Steve and Lianne, company owners were working closely with the local council through Lianne’s existing role supporting vulnerable adults within our community before Team Nature.
They were approached to create a range of garden buildings utilising Steve’s extensive background in construction and carpentry. The purpose of these buildings were to help give those struggling most with the confinement of lockdown their own safe spaces, outdoor in nature.
The onset of the coronavirus pandemic in early 2020 has had huge impacts on many aspects of our everyday lives. Statistics showed in 2021 that nearly 47% of the working population were working from home in some capacity.
It has also resulted in a dramatic rise of mental health problems found to be spread across people of all ages. Sadly many studies have shown that from December 2019 – January 2021 the number of people, despite age or background suffering with anxiety and other mental health concerns jumped from 11% to more than a staggering 42% in such a short space of time.
